Natural Small Sea Sponge Piece. This is a piece from a larger Sea Sponge that was trimmed. All our Sea Sponges were sustainably harvested off the coast of Florida in the Gulf of Mexico. Many uses including removal of cosmetics, bathing, sponge painting, pottery, washing cars and boats, and general household cleaning. Many customers use it to decorate an aquarium. Natural sponges do not disintegrate like synthetic ones. They do not harbor bacteria and germs like synthetic sponges can do. No two are alike, each one is unique. Random sizes, shapes, and shades of color. Due to irregular shapes, these pieces normally have different dimensions between 2-1/2" and 4". Very mild and gentle when wet. If desired, sponges can be trimmed and shaped with a scissors. To keep your sponge long-lasting, about once/month rinse your sponge with warm water and baking soda, rinse with clean water, and let it dry. These are sold individually for $2.50 each piece.

Lots of customers seek out Vase Sponges to put in the bathroom to hold toiletry items, such as soaps, shampoos, combs, lotions, and more. Many other uses include using it for bathing, sponge painting, pottery, washing cars and boats, and general household cleaning. Makes a great "home" for a plant. Plant the plant in the Sponge Vase and water it periodically. (You may want to put a saucer under the Sponge Vase.)
