This product works well for flies and mosquitos. I have never had a tick on me while using it either.  I use this for myself, my kids and my dogs.  It does not stay oily on the skin, but absorbs in. I don't worry about my kids ingesting this accidentally (itching/rubbing then putting hands in and around their mouth and eyes) like many of the commercial products.

We use this on our dogs, kids and ourselves.  It works great, a little oily; duh :)... helps so much with the biting flies without spraying with chemicals.

Tested it when on a trail with lots of trees.  Put on legs/arms and had no issues.  The only place the mosquitoes 'liked' me was near my face - where I had no repellent.  Next time I will use it there too!
